We are looking for a skilled Paralegal to join a dynamic commercial real estate development team in the Greater Hartford area. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-profile projects while leveraging expertise in corporate governance, contracts, and compliance. The position is fully on-site, requiring a hands-on approach to legal and administrative tasks.
Job Responsibility:
Manage corporate governance processes, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Oversee entity management activities, including formation, maintenance, and dissolution of corporate entities
Review, draft, and maintain contracts related to commercial real estate transactions
Conduct legal research and prepare documentation for real estate acquisitions, leases, and development agreements
Support compliance efforts by tracking regulatory updates and maintaining accurate records
Collaborate with attorneys and other team members on complex legal matters
Maintain and organize legal files and databases to ensure accessibility and accuracy
Coordinate with external parties, such as legal counsel and regulatory agencies, to facilitate transactions
Assist in preparing reports and presentations for stakeholders
Provide administrative support to the legal team as needed
Requirements:
Proven experience as a paralegal, preferably in commercial real estate or corporate law
Strong knowledge of corporate governance and entity management processes
Familiarity with legal compliance requirements and contracts management
Ability to conduct legal research and analyze complex information
Proficiency in organizing and maintaining legal documentation and databases
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities
Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field preferred
