We are looking for a skilled Paralegal to join our team in Memphis, Tennessee. This is a Contract position, with the potential to transition into a permanent role based on performance and workload demands. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in real estate transactions, particularly residential closings, and demonstrate a meticulous approach to legal documentation.
Job Responsibility:
Prepare and review residential real estate closing documents to ensure accuracy and compliance
Organize and maintain legal files and records related to real estate transactions
Collaborate with attorneys and other professionals to facilitate smooth closings
Conduct research on real estate laws and regulations as needed
Communicate effectively with clients, title companies, and other stakeholders to address inquiries and resolve issues
Ensure all closing processes meet legal and regulatory standards
Verify the accuracy of property-related information and legal descriptions
Support the preparation of reports and summaries for attorneys
Assist with administrative tasks related to real estate transactions
Stay updated on relevant legal changes and industry practices
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Paralegal, particularly in real estate transactions
Strong knowledge of residential real estate closing procedures
Familiarity with legal documentation and property-related records
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Effective written and verbal communication abilities
Proficiency in legal research and analysis
Ability to work on-site in Memphis, Tennessee
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance
