We are looking for a detail-oriented Paralegal to support civil litigation matters in Austin, Texas. This role works closely with attorneys through all phases of a case, from document review and discovery coordination to trial preparation and case tracking. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable managing deadlines, and confident using case management software in a fast-paced legal environment.
Job Responsibility:
Coordinate discovery activities by organizing records, tracking requests, and preparing materials for production
Assist attorneys with civil litigation matters by maintaining case files, summarizing documents, and monitoring key deadlines
Support trial readiness through exhibit preparation, witness file organization, and compilation of hearing and court materials
Manage case information within legal software platforms to keep files accurate, current, and easy to access
Draft and format legal documents, correspondence, and case-related materials for attorney review
Conduct file and document reviews to help identify relevant facts, outstanding items, and next steps in active matters
Communicate with internal legal team members and external parties to gather information and keep case activity moving forward
Requirements:
Prior experience working as a Paralegal in a civil litigation environment
Practical knowledge of discovery processes, including document collection and production support
Familiarity with trial preparation tasks such as organizing exhibits and preparing case materials
Experience using case management software to maintain and track litigation files
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle sensitive legal information with professionalism and discretion
