We are looking for a detail-oriented Paralegal to support a busy litigation practice in Dallas, Texas. This position plays an important role in advancing civil matters by coordinating case materials, assisting attorneys with filings and discovery, and preparing documents for hearings and trial. The role offers exposure to both personal injury and business litigation within an established law firm environment.
Job Responsibility
Collect, review, and organize medical records, billing documentation, and other case-related materials to support litigation strategy
Communicate with clients, witnesses, experts, and other parties to obtain information, updates, and required documents
Prepare draft pleadings, discovery materials, motions, and related legal documents for attorney review and filing
Assemble exhibits, trial notebooks, hearing packets, and other materials needed for court appearances and case preparation
Monitor court deadlines, filing dates, and case milestones to help ensure matters progress on schedule
Maintain accurate case files, correspondence, and document records in an organized and accessible manner
Support attorneys across personal injury and business litigation matters from initial intake through trial preparation
Complete electronic court filings and assist with discovery-related document management as needed
Requirements
At least 3 years of paralegal experience supporting civil litigation matters
Working knowledge of Texas Rules of Civil Procedure and Texas Rules of Evidence
Proven ability to manage multiple active cases and deadlines in a fast-paced legal setting
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a detail-focused approach to client and team interactions
Excellent organizational abilities and close attention to detail in handling legal documents and case materials
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Experience with Adobe and electronic filing systems used in litigation support
Ability to work collaboratively with attorneys and staff while also handling responsibilities independently
