In this role, you’ll support our legal operations by preparing and organising legal documents, liaising with clients, witnesses and stakeholders and ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of claims. You’ll also assist with invoice processing, help negotiate favourable outcomes and collaborate closely with both internal departments and external partners. Job Responsibility:
Draft, proofread, and finalise legal documents and correspondence, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal standards
Gather and organise evidence and other pertinent legal documents for solicitor review
Arrange interviews and meetings with clients, witnesses and other relevant parties
Organise and maintain both physical and electronic filing systems, ensuring legal documents are easily accessible and secure
Negotiate claims and settlements with various insurers and third parties to achieve favorable outcomes
Communicate with insurers and other key stakeholders by phone and email, including negotiating outcomes when necessary
Perform ad hoc administrative tasks to assist the legal team in meeting deadlines and managing casework
Requirements:
Currently studying law - 2nd-3rd years are welcomed! (essential)
Capacity to work 4-5 days a week (Monday-Friday)
Ability to uphold and maintain professional ethics when managing cases and dealing with clients and other stakeholders
Ability to take ownership of your work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Ability to think creatively to achieve tasks and meet targets
Understanding of legal principles and willingness to learn
