We are looking for a Paralegal to support a dynamic legal practice. This opportunity offers meaningful exposure to multiple areas of law, including real estate, estates and trusts, and corporate, with the ability to develop depth in one area while contributing across several practice groups. The ideal candidate is organized, research-driven, and comfortable managing a varied workload in a collaborative environment.
Job Responsibility:
Conduct legal and factual research to support attorneys handling matters related to property transactions, estate planning and administration, and corporate deals
Draft, revise, and organize legal documents, correspondence, closing materials, and case files with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Assist with transaction coordination by tracking deadlines, gathering supporting documentation, and preparing materials for review and execution
Support real estate matters involving commercial and other property-related work, including document review and file management
Contribute to estates and trusts matters by helping assemble probate, estate administration, and related legal documentation
Provide assistance on mergers and acquisitions projects by organizing due diligence materials, maintaining checklists, and supporting closing preparation
Communicate with attorneys, clients, and external parties to collect information, monitor outstanding items, and help keep matters moving efficiently
Maintain well-organized records and ensure legal files, supporting documents, and internal tracking systems remain current and complete
Requirements:
Prior experience working as a paralegal in a law firm or legal department
Demonstrated ability to perform legal research and summarize findings clearly and accurately
Working knowledge of at least one of the following practice areas: real estate, estates and trusts, or mergers and acquisitions
Familiarity with commercial real estate matters and legal documentation is highly valued
Strong written communication skills with the ability to prepare and review detailed legal documents
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven setting
Proficiency with standard office and legal support technology used for document preparation, file organization, and matter tracking
Nice to have:
Familiarity with commercial real estate matters and legal documentation
