Job Responsibility
Coordinate discovery activities by organizing records, tracking deadlines, and preparing materials for attorney review
Support civil litigation matters through document management, filing assistance, and maintenance of accurate case information
Assist with trial preparation by assembling exhibits, witness files, hearing binders, and other case-related materials
Maintain and update information in case management software to ensure files, schedules, and litigation documents remain current
Conduct basic legal and factual research to support case strategy and ongoing matter development
Draft, revise, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and case summaries with close attention to detail
Monitor key litigation dates and help ensure responses, filings, and internal deliverables are completed on time
Requirements
Experience supporting attorneys in civil litigation environments
Working knowledge of discovery processes, including document review and production coordination
Ability to contribute to trial preparation with strong organizational and follow-through skills
Proficiency with case management software and legal document tracking systems
Strong written communication skills and attention to accuracy in legal documentation
Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines
Familiarity with general litigation procedures, court-related documentation, and file maintenance
