Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Paralegal to join our team on a contract basis in Clayton, Missouri. This role focuses on supporting employer-based immigration processes, including the preparation of H-1B and related petitions. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of immigration law and demonstrate exceptional organizational skills.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare and manage H-1B and other related immigration petitions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements
Conduct interviews to gather necessary information from candidates for petition preparation
Perform legal research to identify the required documentation and procedures for completing immigration cases
Assemble, review, and finalize comprehensive application packets for submission to relevant authorities
Collaborate with team members to ensure all petition components are accurate and properly formatted before submission
Assist in copying, organizing, and dispatching completed packets to the appropriate destinations
Maintain meticulous attention to detail to ensure all documentation is accurate and complete
Stay updated on immigration policies and procedures to provide reliable support to the team

Requirements:

Proven experience in immigration law, particularly with employer-based petitions such as H-1B
Strong familiarity with preparing and submitting immigration petitions and related documentation
Excellent research and analytical skills for identifying necessary legal procedures and requirements
Exceptional organizational abilities and a keen eye for detail to ensure error-free submissions
Effective communication skills to gather information and collaborate with various stakeholders
Proficiency in managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy and thoroughness
