Job Description

The Serious Injury team sits within our Consumer Business (LIME), which in turn sits within our Litigation & Dispute Resolution Group. The team deals with some of the most complex and high-profile personal injury claims nationally and won Catastrophic Injury Team of the year at the 2023 national Personal Injury Awards.

Job Responsibility

  • Working as part of a team to provide assistance on claimant personal injury work with a focus on serious injury and major trauma work
  • Assisting with running caseloads from start to finish
  • Liaising with clients and instructing experts e.g. medical experts and barristers
  • Negotiating with the other side
  • Preparing cases for trial as appropriate

Requirements

  • 1-3 years’ experience in dealing with serious injury, major trauma work (claimant)
  • The desire and enthusiasm to be involved in business development and attending client events
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to demonstrate empathy when required
  • A high degree of initiative and the ability to cope in a fast-moving environment
  • Excellent organisational and prioritising skills
