Paralegal or Legal Secretary

• Assist attorneys in litigation matters, including drafting and filing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery materials
• Coordinate case management tasks, including calendaring deadlines and managing case files
• Conduct legal research and compile information to support case preparation
• Communicate with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel professionally and efficiently
• Maintain organized and detailed records of client matters and litigation proceedings

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as either a paralegal or legal secretary
• Preferred: prior litigation experience in a legal setting
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Proficiency in legal technology tools, case management software, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work on-site in Monterey, California
• Paralegal certificate is preferred but not required
