Job Description

We are looking for a number of Paralegals to join our market leading CSG team that works with over 40 insurance companies and self-insured corporates. This role will be situated in Birmingham on a permanent basis. Our Motor Injury team deals with motor injury claims of all values and complexities. We have a progressive approach and a market leading reputation for not simply tackling litigation, but also for tracking and analysing behaviours and trends with a view to providing our clients with bespoke strategies and analysis of changing market behaviours.

Job Responsibility

  • Be responsible for a varied caseload of pre-litigated or litigated work
  • Screen matters for prospects and liaise with clients upon receipt of instructions
  • Review instructions and provide client advice on case prospects
  • Resolve claims through negotiation and litigation within client service standards
  • Instruct experts and counsel, draft Witness Statements and other Court documents
  • Maintain contact with our clients and their Customers whilst proactively managing their expectations
  • Meet individual performance measures (financial performance, realisation rates and other KPIs)
  • Ensure that the DAC Beachcroft brand and standards are maintained
