We are looking for an experienced Paralegal - Manager to join our team in Tampa, Florida. This role requires a strong background in legal processes, vendor management, and trial preparation, along with advanced MS Excel (VLOOKUP- Pivot tables) expierence.100% in office and 25% National travel is required! Job Responsibility:

  • Analyze large sets of debtor information using advanced Excel functions, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables
  • Oversee legal processes across various fields, ensuring compliance and accuracy
  • Manage vendor relationships, including law firms and outside agencies, to ensure optimal performance
  • Prepare and audit legal documents for trial proceedings
  • Conduct calls with law firms and agencies to monitor compliance and operational effectiveness
  • Acquire and manage debt portfolios, outsourcing tasks to law firms and agencies as needed
  • Ensure all legal activities align with bankruptcy, collections, and probate laws
  • Facilitate estate planning and corporate legal management tasks with precision
  • Maintain calendars and docket systems to ensure deadlines and schedules are met

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a paralegal or legal management role
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP and pivot table functions
  • Strong knowledge of bankruptcy, collections, probate, and estate planning laws
  • Experience with vendor management and auditing processes
  • Ability to prepare legal documents for trials and manage court proceedings
  • Familiarity with corporate legal management systems and calendar/docket management
