Job Description:

As a corporate Paralegal in the Legal Litigation Department, you will be directly involved in the day-to-day operations of the litigation team performing at a high-level of professionalism and confidentiality. You will be responsible for performing various paralegal tasks in connection with a range of challenging duties under limited supervision.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide Paralegal support to various litigation attorneys in managing a docket of discrete matters related to retail and PBM disputes
  • Manage all aspects of the discovery process and independently joining forces with teams across the enterprise to request and analyze data that may be relevant to litigation, class actions and arbitrations
  • Issue legal holds
  • Autonomously manage and respond to third-party subpoenas and government inquires
  • Assist with Real Estate lease responses related to common area maintenance (CAM) concerns
  • Collaborate with lease administration and finance team to reconcile payment disputes under default notices
  • Collaborate with other business areas to facilitate various PCW reporting functions
  • Create effective demonstratives to reflect such reporting
  • Coordinate special projects as well as manage clinical updates with limited direction

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of legal litigation experience or equivalent work experience
  • 4+ years of investigative and research experience or equivalent work experience
  • Expertise with MS Office applications, specifically PowerPoint for presentations
  • Paralegal certificate required
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred

Nice to have:

  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and judgment along with great organizational skills in managing large litigation matters
  • Knowledge of state and federal court systems
  • Experience coordinating multiple projects independently
