Job Responsibility

  • Assist attorneys with corporate and real estate transactions, ensuring seamless support from initiation to final closing
  • Create and maintain comprehensive closing binders, corporate records, and related documentation
  • Draft and revise legal pleadings, discovery responses, and other filings related to litigation
  • Organize and manage case files, ensuring information is accurately maintained within document management systems
  • Handle court and governmental agency filings, ensuring compliance with all procedural requirements
  • Provide support during trial preparation, including assembling materials and coordinating logistics
  • Facilitate transactional closings by preparing and organizing necessary documents and ensuring timely completion

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a paralegal or legal assistant, preferably within a law firm setting
  • Familiarity with litigation processes and transactional legal work
  • Proficiency in managing discovery, trial preparation, and case management software
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with an ability to handle multiple priorities effectively
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining professionalism under deadlines
  • Knowledge of commercial real estate and corporate transactions is highly desirable
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented legal environment
