Accuflex is seeking experienced Paralegals with strong commercial contracts and financial services experience to join our pool of high-calibre legal professionals for upcoming in-house placements. Our clients include leading organisations across the financial services sector, such as multinational asset management companies, investment banks, funds, private equity firms, fintechs and other regulated institutions. Placements vary depending on client needs but typically involve supporting in-house legal teams with commercial contract management, stakeholder engagement and financial-services–related legal work. This is an excellent opportunity for paralegals seeking to develop in-house experience within dynamic, sophisticated and highly regulated environments.

Job Responsibility:

  • Reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts (including NDAs, supplier agreements, platform agreements, distribution or intermediary agreements)
  • Supporting legal teams with fund-related documentation, marketing reviews, cross-border arrangements or intermediary/distribution matters
  • Assisting with regulatory projects or compliance work (AIFMD, UCITS, MiFID, SFDR, consumer duty, etc.)
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders such as client services, procurement, compliance and finance teams
  • Conducting legal research and preparing internal guidance notes or templates
  • Managing contract lifecycles and maintaining document and data-management systems
  • Supporting lawyers with cross-jurisdictional queries and regulatory analysis

Requirements:

  • Prior paralegal experience (private practice or in-house)
  • Strong commercial contracts experience (reviewing, drafting, negotiating)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive, organised and able to work independently within a structured team environment
  • Experience in financial services, asset management, funds, banking, private equity, fintech or capital markets
  • Experience with distribution, intermediary or platform agreements
  • Previous in-house experience within a regulated institution
  • Familiarity with UK/EU regulatory frameworks (e.g., AIFMD, UCITS, MiFID, SFDR)
  • Additional European language skills (e.g., French, German, Spanish) are advantageous
