Job Description

Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive In-House Paralegal / Contract Administrator to support a corporate legal team in Glen Cove, NY. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with strong contract management experience looking to contribute in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with the potential for long-term growth.

Job Responsibility

  • Draft, review, and administer contracts, including customer agreements, purchase orders, and vendor contracts
  • Track contract status, key dates, and compliance obligations
  • Support corporate governance, compliance initiatives, and risk management efforts
  • Maintain legal files, contract repositories, and corporate records with a high level of organization
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure adherence to contractual terms
  • Assist with litigation preparation and general legal administrative matters
  • Provide direct administrative support to legal counsel as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Paralegal Studies, Business, or related field
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a corporate legal department, law firm, or similar setting
  • Strong understanding of contract law and contract lifecycle management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and collaborate across teams

Nice to have

Exposure to AI tools or legal tech platforms is a plus
