Exciting 12-month in-house placement (with possibility to extend) for a paralegal with commercial contracts expertise at a leading London asset management business. The successful candidate will be employed by Accuflex and seconded to the client under a fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to join a prestigious organisation and work alongside a highly collaborative Funds & Distribution legal team supporting UK, European and global business functions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts
  • Assisting with distribution/intermediary agreements, rebate letters, platform agreements and NDAs
  • Supporting cross-border fund marketing and regulatory compliance (e.g., AIFMD, UCITS, FSMA)
  • Liaising with stakeholders across UK and European business units, including Luxembourg teams
  • Contributing to internal templates, know-how, and process improvements
  • Assisting with general legal queries and identifying issues for escalation

Requirements:

  • Strong commercial contracts experience (drafting, reviewing, negotiating)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
  • Proactive, collaborative working style and willingness to ask questions

Nice to have:

  • Exposure to funds/intermediary agreements
  • Asset management or broader financial services experience
  • Prior in-house experience
  • Understanding of UCITS, AIFMD and related regulatory frameworks
  • French, German, Spanish, or other EU languages
