Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous warehouse, food service, grocery, nonprofit, or customer service experience is a plus
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand, bend, and move throughout the shift
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
Basic computer skills are helpful but not required
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

Job Responsibility

Assist with receiving, unloading, and organizing food donations and deliveries
Sort, inspect, and stock food products according to pantry guidelines and food safety standards
Prepare food orders and distribution packages for clients
Maintain inventory levels and assist with inventory tracking
Help keep storage areas, refrigerators, freezers, and pantry spaces clean and organized
Support food distribution events and client service activities
Greet clients, volunteers, and donors in a friendly and professional manner
Assist with setup and breakdown of pantry operations and special events
Follow all food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures
Work collaboratively with staff, volunteers, and community partners
