Are you a skilled Panel Beater looking for your next opportunity? This is your chance to join a respected Tasmanian business, working full time on a diverse fleet of service vehicles and machinery. You’ll be carrying out high-quality panel repairs, refinishing and maintenance across a wide range of vehicles and equipment, ensuring the service fleet and machinery are always looking sharp and ready for work.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform panel repairs, sanding, welding, griding and refinshing
  • Carry out body workwork on comapny fleet, trucks and machinery
  • Work efficiently to meet deadlines maintaining workmanship standards

Requirements:

  • Trade qualified Panel Beater (Cert III or equivalent)
  • Strong skills in welding, panel repairs and refinishing
  • Experience with both light vehicles and heavy equipment an advantage
  • Reliable, safety-minded and able to work as part of a team

  • Assess vehicles to establish extent of damage
  • Remove damaged panels from associated vehicle
  • Complete repair work on vehicles using a range of body repairs including but not limited to jig work, welding etc.
  • Strip and refit damaged panels from vehicles, including interior trim and minor mechanical and/or electrical parts
  • Fit replacement or repaired panels to associated vehicle
  • Report defective items not included in the original repair estimate to the Bodyshop Manager
