We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Panel Beater / Fabricator to join our busy workshop in Portsmouth. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who takes pride in high-quality workmanship and is looking to work in a fast-paced, professional environment with a strong focus on delivering exceptional vehicle repair and fabrication services. As a Panel Beater / Fabricator, you will be responsible for repairing, restoring, and fabricating vehicle bodywork to a high standard. This role involves working on a range of light and heavy vehicles, ensuring they are returned to service safely and efficiently. Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed above and below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.
Job Responsibility:
Carry out panel repairs, replacements, and realignment
Fabricate and modify body components as required
Weld, cut, and shape metal using appropriate tools and equipment
Assess vehicle damage and determine repair methods
Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
Work collaboratively with the workshop team to meet deadlines
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Panel Beater/Fabricator
Strong welding and metal fabrication skills
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Full UK driving licence (preferred)
