Job Description

We are hiring workers to build wooden pallets at our Calgary shop. You will use tools to assemble wood pallets quickly and safely. Pay & Shifts (Monday to Friday): Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM $18.00 per hour. Night Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM $19.00 per hour. Note: The building is close to public transit, but please check your bus/train schedule for late-night finishes.

Job Responsibility

  • Build Pallets: Use hand and power tools to build wooden pallets
  • Run Machines: Safely operate heavy woodworking machinery to hit daily goals
  • Move Wood: Handle and move raw wood materials to keep the assembly line moving
  • Stay Safe: Keep your workspace clean, organized, and safe
  • Daily tasks include building pallets and other wood products using various hand and power tools
  • You will be responsible for operating woodworking machinery at a fast and steady pace to meet production targets
  • This role requires working in a high-volume, heavy environment while moving materials and maintaining a safe workspace

Requirements

  • Must have previous woodworking experience
  • Must have experience using air nail guns and bandsaw/table saw
  • Must be ready to start working right away
  • Physically Resilient: You are capable of heavy lifting and thrive when working on your feet in a demanding physical environment
  • Technically Minded: You have experience—or a strong desire to learn—with pneumatic air nailers and various saws
  • Efficiency-Driven: You possess the fast-paced gear needed to meet and exceed daily production goals
  • Proven Background: You bring valuable experience from a warehouse, shop, or construction setting
