Job Description:

Our client, a large utility organization is seeking a Palantir Technical Business Analyst to support an existing enterprise data initiative. This role works closely with technology leaders, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teammates to translate complex data and user management workflows into actionable requirements within the Palantir environment. The position is ideal for someone who is organized, analytical, and confident presenting to stakeholders in a structured, precise, and professional manner.

Job Responsibility:

  • Conduct requirements gathering sessions as needed, documenting business and technical needs
  • Break down complexities of user and data management processes into understandable components for development teams
  • Support backlog refinement, change management, and user story creation
  • Facilitate communication between technical teams and business partners
  • Ensure objectives, dependencies, and expectations are clearly defined and aligned
  • Assist in sprint planning, prioritization, and other Agile ceremonies
  • Track progress, manage dependencies, and help maintain a healthy product backlog
  • Analyze existing processes to identify opportunities for optimization within the Palantir platform
  • Provide recommendations aligned with best practices and project goals
  • Review system functionality through a business lens
  • Support discussions around architecture, integrations, and data flows
  • Contribute to validation and quality assurance activities as needed
  • Develop a strong understanding of the Palantir environment and existing workflows
  • Build relationships with stakeholders across the project
  • Contribute to existing workstreams by producing clear documentation, structured analysis, and effective presentations

Requirements:

  • Two to four years of experience in business analysis, data-focused roles, or similar functions
  • Highly organized
  • Strong communicator and polished presenter
  • Analytical thinker with ability to break down complexity
  • Experience working with data-heavy systems or technical environments
  • Palantir experience or certification strongly preferred
  • Utilities or regulated industry experience is beneficial
  • Proficiency with Palantir
  • Proficiency with standard project documentation and Agile collaboration tools
  • Clear, formal communicator
  • Patient, adaptable, and persistent
  • Strong stakeholder presence and presentation skills
