The PAIR (Privacy, AI & Data Responsibility) program establishes the enterprise-wide framework for governing responsible data use, privacy-by-design, and trustworthy AI. As the Document Governance Manager, you will support the governance lifecycle for PAIR policies, standards, procedures, and playbooks—ensuring materials are current, consistent, and traceable to regulatory and internal requirements. This role blends content stewardship with cross-functional program enablement and continuous improvement.
Job Responsibility:
Own and evolve the PAIR document governance framework across policies, standards, procedures, and playbooks
set review cadences, operate RACI/approval workflows, and publish/retire content per governance
Drive cross-functional drafting and reviews with SMEs and approvers
synthesize feedback, resolve comments, and deliver high-quality, plain-language documents
Ensure consistency and traceability: harmonize taxonomy and templates, and maintain linkages to requirements, controls, and evidence within GRC and document repositories
Operate and improve tooling: manage metadata, permissions, versioning, and source-of-truth locations
partner with Tech/Tools teams to enhance automation and searchability
Scan change drivers (laws, regulations, product changes, audits, risk assessments) and prepare impact analyses and release notes
prioritize updates and coordinate controlled rollouts
Enable adoption: develop release communications, quick-reference guides, and targeted training
respond to routine inquiries and coach contributors on governance expectations
Measure what matters: define and report metrics (review cadence, cycle time, quality, usage/adoption), identify gaps or redundancies, and lead incremental process improvements
Partner across Legal, Compliance, Product, Security, and Risk to translate PAIR requirements into reusable templates, checklists, and workflow patterns for common scenarios
Requirements:
Proven strength in policy/document governance or GRC content stewardship with superb writing, editing, and version-control discipline
Comfort orchestrating cross-functional reviews
able to navigate feedback, drive alignment, and deliver on deadlines
Working knowledge of privacy, AI governance, and/or data responsibility principles
ability to map requirements to controls and evidence
Hands-on experience with document repositories and GRC platforms (e.g., OneTrust or similar)
adept with metadata, access, and lifecycle management
Bias for clarity and enablement—skilled at simplifying complex topics into usable templates, guidance, and training
Data-informed mindset—comfortable defining metrics and using insights to iterate processes and content quality
