Job Description:

Apply paint, stain and other finishes to property walls, ceilings, and furniture using brushes, spray guns, or rollers. Prepare surfaces for finish coats, remove old finishes, and coordinate with vendors for color modifications. Follow safety procedures and provide excellent guest service in a hospitality environment.

Job Responsibility:

Apply paint, stain and other finishes to property walls, ceilings, and furniture
Apply primers or sealers to prepare new surfaces
Remove old finishes
Cover surfaces with appropriate material for protection
Clean up and store paint and painting tools
Coordinate with vendor to modify colors of paint, stain, or varnish
Follow all company and safety policies
Report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
Complete safety training and certifications
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
Protect company assets
Welcome and acknowledge all guests
Anticipate and address guests' service needs
Assist individuals with disabilities
Thank guests with genuine appreciation
Speak with others using clear and professional language
Support team to reach common goals
Ensure adherence to quality expectations

Requirements:

Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree
At least 1 year of related work experience
Ability to apply paint, stain and other finishes using brushes, spray guns, or rollers
Ability to prepare surfaces for finish coats
Ability to remove old finishes by stripping, sanding, wire brushing, burning, or using water/abrasive blasting
Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
Ability to move up and down a ladder
Ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight
Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing ≤50 pounds without assistance
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
