Come be part of our Engineering team as a Painter at the Hyatt Regency DFW located across from Terminal C of the DFW Airport. The Hyatt Regency DFW features 811 guestrooms and 92,000 square feet of function space.

Job Responsibility:

  • Painter will be responsible for patching and repairing sheetrock, paint and vinyl wall covering
  • Other responsibilities will include water remediation, ceiling repair, some marble restoration and floor tile repair

Requirements:

  • 1–3 years of professional painting experience (commercial, residential, or hospitality)
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Good communication skills with engineering/maintenance staff and hotel leadership
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
  • Customer-service mindset when working near guests or in occupied areas
  • Experience with interior and exterior painting techniques
  • Manual dexterity and good hand–eye coordination
  • Ability to lift 25–50 lbs regularly
  • Ability to stand, kneel, climb ladders, and work at heights
  • Knowledge of: Surface preparation (patching, sanding, caulking, priming)
  • Application of paint, varnish, stain, enamel, and other finishes
  • Use of brushes, rollers, sprayers, and other painting tools
  • Color matching and mixing
  • Ability to read and follow work orders, safety instructions, and technical documents
  • Must have experience with sheetrock, painting and vinyl wall covering
  • Basic troubleshooting skills (electricity, plumbing, etc.)
