Job Description:

The role involves performing maintenance, painting, and repair tasks, resolving guest repair requests, troubleshooting basic issues, and adhering to safety policies. The ideal candidate has basic knowledge of air conditioning, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems, and experience in painting and surface preparation.

Job Responsibility:

Respond and attend to guest repair requests
communicate with guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues
perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment
perform surface preparation, painting, minor drywall and wood trim repair
test, troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on plumbing, electrical components, and other guestroom items
perform repairs on interior and exterior landscaping
ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent
driver’s license
some experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation, and painting
experience in hotel engineering or maintenance is a plus

Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance
