Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled, detail-oriented Painter & Decorator to join our Inspired Works team and help maintain and enhance the beautiful environment our residents call home. As a Painter & Decorator with Inspired Works, you'll help maintain our villages' high visual standards by preparing surfaces, applying decorative finishes, and completing painting and decorating work to an exceptional standard across both interior and exterior spaces. Working closely with the wider maintenance teams, you will help ensure the village remains a welcoming, well-presented, and comfortable place for residents, visitors, and colleagues. This role will also involve an element of travel between villages across the South region to support Painting & decorating needs where required.

Requirements:

Proven experience working as a Painter & Decorator, ideally with a minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role
Strong knowledge of painting and decorating techniques, materials, and best practices
Skilled in surface preparation and the application of a variety of finishes to achieve a high-quality result
NVQ Level 2 in Painting and Decorating (or equivalent) would be desirable
Full UK driving licence

Nice to have:

NVQ Level 2 in Painting and Decorating (or equivalent)
