Job Description:

As a Painter and Decorator in a hotel setting, you will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetic appeal and condition of the property’s interior and exterior surfaces. Your work ensures a welcoming and well-maintained environment for guests and staff.

Job Responsibility:

Requirements:

  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming
  • Apply paint, varnish, wallpaper, and other finishes to walls, ceilings, doors, and furniture
  • Carry out decorative tasks including stenciling, marbling, and other specialist finishes
  • Install and repair wall coverings and decorative moldings
  • Touch up paintwork in guest rooms and public areas as needed
  • Repair cracks, holes, and other surface imperfections
  • Work with the engineering and housekeeping teams to schedule painting and decorating tasks with minimal disruption to guests
  • Assist in planning and executing refurbishment projects
  • Follow all safety procedures and use protective equipment
  • Ensure proper ventilation and disposal of hazardous materials
