Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and adaptable person to join our company as a Paint Production Technician, working in the paint team to ensure paint and colours are delivered in line with the daily production schedule.

Job Responsibility

  • Working to operating procedures to produce consistent, right first-time paints
  • operating the paste and pigment dispensing and the drawdown equipment
  • quality control, problem-solving and resolving colour queries using specialised equipment
  • completing maintenance plans in a timely way and reporting any defects found
  • ensuring that Fermoie's cleanliness and good order standards are met within the paint area and immediate surrounding areas
  • involvement in other areas of the fabric and wallpaper print process as required

  • Plan scheduled maintenance activities for both paint systems and maintain accurate records
  • Maintain equipment in a touch-up booth and decide the proper method and degree of rework needed to provide satisfactory finished units, parts, and assemblies
