Job Description

The Paid & Social Media Specialist will support the execution, management, optimization, and growth of Mowi CP of the Americas’ social media and digital advertising initiatives across multiple brands and platforms. This role will be responsible for managing day-to-day social media operations, including content deployment, community management, campaign execution, paid media support, video distribution, and performance tracking.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage day-to-day execution of social media channels across multiple Mowi brands and platforms
  • Schedule, publish, and optimize content across Meta (Facebook & Instagram), Pinterest, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn and emerging social and digital platforms
  • Execute content calendars aligned with brand campaigns, product launches, seasonal initiatives, and retailer programs
  • Coordinate deployment of video content, reels, stories, livestream assets, and digital creative based on approved marketing calendars
  • Maintain brand consistency and ensure content aligns with overall marketing strategy and tone of voice
  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, tags, and community interactions across social channels
  • Support audience engagement initiatives to grow online communities and improve brand sentiment
  • Escalate consumer inquiries or issues to appropriate internal teams when necessary
  • Monitor social conversations, trends, and emerging platform opportunities
  • Assist in planning, launching, monitoring, and optimizing paid social and digital advertising campaigns
  • Support paid campaigns across social media platforms, Google and retail digital media
  • Help manage audience targeting, campaign setup, A/B testing, retargeting, and optimization strategies
  • Support deployment and tracking of video stream advertising and paid content amplification initiatives
  • Collaborate with creative teams to optimize ad creative performance and messaging
  • Support digital campaign execution across retail and e-commerce platforms including Amazon Ads, Instacart Ads, Walmart Connect, retail media networks
  • Assist with sponsored product campaigns, display ads, and retail digital activations
  • Support initiatives that drive online conversion, traffic, and shopper engagement
  • Track, analyze, and report social media and paid campaign performance metrics
  • Provide actionable insights and optimization recommendations based on performance data
  • Create monthly reporting dashboards and campaign recaps

Requirements

  • 3–5 years in social media marketing, paid media, digital marketing, or e-commerce roles
  • Hands-on management of both organic social growth and paid advertising campaigns
  • Background in consumer packaged goods (CPG), food & beverage, retail, lifestyle, or consumer brands strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated success growing social media accounts and improving engagement metric
  • Familiarity with emerging social and digital advertising platform
  • Strong understanding of social platform algorithms, audience growth strategies, and engagement optimization
  • Collaboration with designers, content creators, and video production teams
  • Exposure to influencer marketing and creator partnership programs
  • Proficiency with social media management tools such as Sprout Social, Later, Hootsuite, Sprinklr, or similar
  • Support of omnichannel retail and e-commerce growth strategies
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally across departments and external partners with a collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
  • Experience with project management tools such as Asana, Monday.com, Wrike, or similar platforms preferred
  • Strong analytical and performance marketing skills
  • Ability to interpret campaign data and optimize performance based on KPIs
  • Experience with reporting and analytics tools
  • Knowledge of social content trends, storytelling, and visual communication
  • Ability to coordinate content calendars and manage high-volume publishing schedules
  • Basic photo and video editing skills are a plus
