As a Paid Social Media Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day performance and execution of our paid social campaigns while contributing to strategic planning and cross-channel growth. You will independently manage campaigns, drive optimisations based on data, and act as a key interface between creative, analytics, and other stakeholders. You will ensure campaigns are structured for performance, scaled efficiently, and aligned with broader business objectives. This position is permanent and based in Munich.
Job Responsibility:
Plan, launch, and manage paid social campaigns across Meta, Pinterest, and other relevant platforms, ensuring best-practice account structures, audience strategies, and budget allocation for full-funnel performance, but with a strong focus on conversion
Monitor KPIs, conduct in-depth performance analyses, and implement ongoing optimisations across creatives, audiences, bidding, and placements to meet acquisition and revenue targets
Translate high-level channel strategy into actionable testing plans (A/B tests on creatives, formats, targeting, and campaign structures) and scale proven learnings across markets
Brief, review, and refine ad creatives together with internal teams and agency partners, ensuring a strong balance between brand guidelines and performance requirements
Work closely with Analytics and Tech teams to brief and maintain accurate tracking (e.g., pixel/CAPI setups), validate data quality, and apply insights to optimisation decisions
Prepare regular reports with actionable insights for stakeholders, highlighting key drivers, risks, and opportunities, and supporting senior team members with strategic recommendations
Proactively identify new ad formats, targeting capabilities, and AI-driven automation features, and integrate them into campaign planning to unlock incremental growth
Requirements:
3+ years of hands-on experience managing performance-focused paid social campaigns on Meta, Pinterest, TikTok (additional platforms are a plus), ideally in an eCommerce or agency environment
Strong operational expertise in campaign setup, budget management, and optimisation
experience with tools like Smartly and dynamic creative setups is a plus
Solid analytical skills with a deep understanding of core KPIs (e.g., ROAS, CTR, CPC) and the ability to turn data into clear optimisation actions
A performance-driven mindset with a strong eye for high-impact creatives and the ability to translate insights into effective briefs
Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with creative, analytics, and key stakeholders, paired with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Well-organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple campaigns and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Fluency in English
