Job Description

This position sits in our Marketing & Technology service. We combine data, technology, creative content, and paid media to crack brands’ business problems & drive revenue through a variety of digital marketing solutions like ad campaigns, augmented reality, and chatbots. Our clients include ASOS, Just Eat Takeaway, Twitch, TikTok, and The White Company. Here at DEPT®, we are proud of the award winning, creative campaigns and content that we produce for a range of exciting and well known brands, and we believe that our Media Team is pivotal in the success of those campaigns. Our Media Team is made up of both paid and organic media specialists and we are looking for a new SEA Specialist to join the team to service an exciting new client. You are a critical thinker and analytical problem solver, equally curious and creative. You have a strong command of paid search platforms, such as Google Ads and Bing Ads, and can effectively communicate complex ideas to clients and internal stakeholders. You have a track record of driving results and optimizing campaigns to meet client objectives. As a key member of the team, you will contribute to the growth and success of our clients' digital campaigns.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage multi-market paid search and shopping campaigns for clients
  • Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify relevant search terms and opportunities for campaign optimisation
  • Lean into automation and use of data within campaigns, including utilising AI to improve performance
  • Create and optimize paid search campaigns across various platforms, such as Google Ads and Bing Ads
  • Monitor campaign performance, analyse data, and provide regular reports to clients, highlighting key metrics and recommendations for improvement
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in paid search advertising
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of campaigns and alignment with client goals
  • Stay informed about changes in search engine algorithms and adjust strategies accordingly
  • Carry out technical analysis, content & authority analysis
  • Set up implementation plans and workflows
  • Respond to client (internal and external) briefs
  • Report on activity on weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
  • Have a direct client communication

Requirements

  • Prior experience (at least 2 years) in managing and optimising paid search & shopping campaigns, preferably within a digital agency or similar environment
  • Strong knowledge of paid search platforms, such as Google Ads and Bing Ads
  • Experience with client communication
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive campaign optimisation
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Intermediate or higher proficiency in the use of Excel/Sheets and familiarity with Word/Docs and PowerPoint/Slides
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills with a high attention to detail
  • Ability to react quickly within a fast-paced environment
  • Directly available to start working from either our Manchester or London office
  • Full working proficiency in the English language
