The Paid Media Specialist is responsible for supporting the team in the planning, implementation and maintenance of digital media campaigns. This position requires an individual to strategically think and problem solve while paying meticulous attention to detail. The Paid Media Specialist will report to and work closely with Sr. Strategists to plan and execute media plans and aggregate data to inform insights and optimizations for the internal team and client. This individual is expected to show integrity, drive and initiative, communicate effectively and have organization skills to succeed in a fast-paced work environment.
Job Responsibility:
Campaign Management & Execution - 40%
With the oversight of direct manager (Strategist) implement and manage strategy, campaign structure, targeting and building out of digital campaigns based on best practices in order to fulfill client KPIs
Own the building and updating of internal documents such as media plans, budget pacing documents, campaign structures, account history narratives
Work with manager to ensure all on-site and paid media tracking is set up correctly prior to media launching
responsible for QAing KPI/Event tracking is properly working across all platforms (GTM, GA4, Google Ads, Meta, etc.)
Daily use of Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager and Excel to monitor campaign performance and ensure the delivery and success of: Paid Search

Programmatic Display & Video
Budget Management
Lead Generation Management
Manage client digital marketing budgets and makes adjustments to budget allocation across all paid platforms on a weekly basis
Consistently bring forward optimization ideas to manager for ways to improve performance using fundamental knowledge of paid media budget/bidding cause and effect on campaign objectives and results
Reporting & Analysis - 30%
Perform weekly monitoring of campaigns and provides optimization recommendations using reports in GA4, Meta, Google Ads and other programmatic platforms
Analyzes and optimizes performance across placements, creative, device types and product lines
Generate weekly and/or monthly client Looker reports to show progress and includes detailed metrics and deep analysis on: Website Performance

Strategy - 15%
With the help of Sr Strategist, identify client goals to make sure they are properly tracked and the proper channels are being utilized to meet them
Design campaign structures based on client’s business goals using foundational understanding of connection between campaign objectives and bidding methodologies (i.e. leads campaign should optimize towards leads conversions not link clicks)
Enforce clean and organized campaign set up and naming hierarchy to effectively and efficiently manage campaigns and analyze results at different granularities
Help refine Agency best practices and methodology for paid marketing and online channel management
Actively participates in strategy sessions and client presentations
Learning & Development - 10%
Participate in regular trainings of Meta, Google Ads and any new platforms - must get a passing score
Advance knowledge of industry standards and stay abreast of industry trends/ the latest benchmarks related to our clients
Apply regular feedback from manager and continue developing professional habits as it relates to work output and understanding of the paid media landscape
Team Collaboration - 5%
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Creative, Interactive and Content to enhance digital campaigns and inform strategy based on data and performance
Work alongside Sr. Strategist to build and fosters client relationships through proactive and informative client communications
Requirements:
2-5 years of experience in a digital marketing role
agency experience a plus
Extensive knowledge of tagging and website analytics and reporting platforms such as Google Analytics 4, Google Looker and Google Tag Manager
Extensive knowledge and hands-on-keyboard experience with bid management platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, LinkedIn Ads and programmatic DSPs
Specialization in day to day management and strategy of Google Paid Search/PMAX/Display and Meta Paid Social
Extensive knowledge of Excel and Outlook with exposure to basic data manipulation and pivot tables
Experience creating internal processes to help manage day to day workload and execute campaigns effectively
is confident to challenge process for efficiencies and bring solutions to the team
Proven track record of excellent organizational, written and verbal skills
Experience with accurately translate findings into actionable changes to online marketing or website content with the goal of optimizing performance and supporting client goals
Has a thorough understanding of the many potential metrics as they relate to digital marketing
Knowledge of programmatic advertising platforms and their strengths and weaknesses
