We are seeking an analytically minded MBA intern to join our Paid Media Marketing team and play a key role in Lyft’s upcoming campaign. In this role, you'll serve as a critical link between campaign performance data and strategic decision-making—translating reporting into clear, action-oriented insights that drive optimization and results. This is an opportunity to work hands-on with real campaign data at scale, collaborate cross-functionally with media, brand, measurement and strategy teams, and sharpen your ability to tell compelling stories with data.
Job Responsibility:
Leverage analytical insights to continually optimize multi-million dollar budgets across media buys to ensure profitable ROI, including identifying insights, optimizing strategies and reporting on KPIs
Work with external agencies to develop and execute campaigns while meeting business objectives
Balance use of proven tactics with a thoughtful and organized test and learn approach to new opportunities
Support market-specific test & learn agendas for paid media to quantify brand spend efficiency, measure impact on downloads and ride bookings, and optimize competitive messaging across markets
Drive integration of paid media performance, research, and audience insights into campaign development to enhance targeting and personalization
Develop strong relationships across a variety of stakeholders, including brand, product teams, social teams, data sciences, and 3P vendors to partner on media strategy and execution
Create alignment with key internal partners through consistent communication, and act as a media resource for cross-functional teams that will help educate and support company goals and initiatives
Support day-to-day functions of paid media including briefing, channel management and optimization, project oversight, and critical metrics tracking
Requirements:
Currently pursuing an MBA from a university in Canada (required)
Coursework or experience in marketing, analytics, or strategy (required)
Graduation date between December 2026 and Summer 2027 (required)
3-4 years of prior work experience
Strong analytical skills with the ability to distill complex data into simple, compelling narratives
A bias toward action
Advanced understanding of platforms inclusive of social, audio, programmatic, DOOH, etc.
Strong organizational and project management skills
Shown ability to set priorities, meet challenging deadlines, and work independently
Curiosity about media, consumer behavior, and the evolving digital landscape
Forward-thinking, analytical and a problem-solver
Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
