Job Description

Our client is a leading banking organisation in Belgium, where digital visibility, customer acquisition and measurable media performance play a key role in business growth. As banking customers increasingly move between digital channels, paid media has become essential to build awareness, drive consideration and support commercial objectives across brands and segments. In this role, you will join the Digital Marketing Chapter within the Marketing & Communication department. You will help define and optimise paid media strategies, challenge agency recommendations, improve budget efficiency and ensure campaigns deliver clear impact. You will work closely with Marcom Managers, digital marketing experts, media agencies, sales houses, creative partners, analytics teams and IT stakeholders.

Job Responsibility

  • Design, implement, coordinate and monitor paid media campaign strategies that support brand awareness, consideration and business objectives
  • Translate Marcom and business briefings into clear media objectives, target audiences, KPIs and tactical media plans
  • Challenge media agencies on strategy, planning, buying, optimisation, negotiation and campaign performance
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with sales houses, publishers and media partners to identify relevant opportunities
  • Ensure a smooth media process from strategy and campaign setup through to reporting, evaluation and learnings
  • Monitor campaign performance, share insights and translate results into recommendations for future campaigns
  • Follow up media budgets, challenge investment decisions and support annual or punctual negotiations
  • Coordinate tagging and measurement requirements with analytics teams to ensure accurate performance tracking
  • Work closely with creative agencies and internal stakeholders to improve campaign quality and effectiveness
  • Support contract follow-up, agency evaluation, reporting coordination and invoicing accuracy

Requirements

  • Solid experience in digital marketing, ideally in financial services or another complex organisation
  • Working experience with tools and platforms such as Google Ads, CM360, DV360, social media advertising platforms, SAP, QAP and MS Office is key
  • Strong communication, negotiation, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills are needed
  • Strong communication skills (written and oral) in Dutch or French, with fluency in English
  • Ambition to further develop your career in paid media, digital marketing and media strategy within the banking sector

Past experience in banking or financial products is a strong plus
