Job Description

We are currently recruiting Paediatric Registrars to join healthcare services across Australia. This is an excellent opportunity to work within well-supported paediatric departments, managing a wide range of acute and general paediatric conditions while contributing to high-quality, family-centred care.

Job Responsibility

Assess, diagnose, and manage paediatric patients across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings
Manage acute paediatric presentations with appropriate escalation to consultants when required
Perform clinical procedures relevant to paediatric care
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including nursing staff and allied health professionals
Communicate effectively with children, families, and caregivers to support holistic care
Participate in ward rounds, clinical handovers, and documentation
Contribute to teaching and supervision of junior staff where appropriate

Requirements

MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA)
Eligible via Competent Authority Pathway (UK/Ireland)
Experience at Registrar level in Paediatrics
Experience managing acute paediatric cases
Experience within the NHS or equivalent healthcare system
Minimum 1 year of NHS experience
Strong clinical skills in paediatric assessment and management
Excellent communication with children and families
Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
Compassionate and patient-centred approach
