Conduct detailed assessments to evaluate fine motor, gross motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to enhance the child’s functional independence in self-care, play, and school activities
Use play-based, child-friendly approaches to improve coordination, balance, handwriting, and sensory regulation
Address challenges such as: Sensory processing disorders
Fine and gross motor delays
Developmental coordination difficulties
Handwriting, posture, and motor planning issues
Collaborate with parents and caregivers to create home programs that reinforce therapy goals
Maintain accurate session records, progress documentation, and evaluation reports
Work closely with the multidisciplinary team (Speech Therapists, Pediatricians, Psychologists, and Educators) for integrated child development planning
Participate in workshops, training, and interdisciplinary meetings for continuous professional growth
Requirements:
5 years of experience
B.Sc in Psychology with 2–3 years of clinical/therapy experience
Understanding of child behaviour, developmental psychology, and behavioural therapy techniques
Experience with behaviour modification, ABA-based methods (preferred), and parent training
Strong observational, assessment, and documentation skills
Excellent communication and rapport-building abilities
Empathy, patience, and passion for working with children
