Job Description

Are you a paediatric Occupational Therapist looking to make a real difference in children’s lives? We are working exclusively with a paediatric occupational therapy service supporting children and young people with a wide range of developmental needs. This role is based in schools and the community, offering the chance to take ownership of your own caseloads while receiving guidance and mentorship from a highly specialist Occupational Therapist.

Job Responsibility

Manage your own caseload and diary, delivering assessments and interventions across community settings
Provide school and home-based occupational therapy support, liaising with parents, SENCOs, teachers, and external professionals
Conduct assessments for a wide range of conditions, including sensory processing difficulties, dyspraxia, autism spectrum condition, ADHD, cerebral palsy, and Down syndrome
Supervise newly qualified Occupational Therapists, Occupational Therapy Assistants, and student placements
Support and model high standards of practice, contributing to service development and team growth

Requirements

Qualified Occupational Therapist with HCPC registration and RCOT membership
Minimum of 1 years’ experience in paediatric occupational therapy
Strong clinical reasoning and confidence in assessment, intervention planning, and professional reporting
Experience building effective relationships with children, young people, families, and multi-disciplinary teams
Commitment to ongoing CPD and reflective practice
Full UK driving licence and access to your own car
