Job Description

Airmid Staffing is looking for experienced nurses with paediatric experience to support a 10-year-old child with complex health needs in Newport, South Wales. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses who are looking for flexible agency work for a period of 6 weeks within a supportive complex care setting. Shifts will be available on an ongoing basis, with full package-specific training and clinical support provided.

Job Responsibility

  • Gastrostomy tube feeding
  • Oral and deep suctioning
  • Seizure management
  • Medication administration
  • Oxygen saturation monitoring
  • Escalation of concerns in line with the care plan

Requirements

  • Current NMC registration
  • Paediatric nursing experience
  • Experience with some or all of the above clinical interventions
  • A calm, professional and child-centred approach
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a wider care team
