Job Description

The Packing Utility Operator provides safe and efficient operation of the processing process. In this role you will perform quality checks to ensure product quality and will perform equipment troubleshooting to provide optimal equipment performance. You will perform safety walks and ensure that all areas of processing are safe, well maintained, and in good working condition.

Job Responsibility

  • Assist Packing Department in the operations, housekeeping, and maintenance
  • Assure proper packaging raw materials are being utilized
  • Perform regular and preventative maintenance on mobile or stationary equipment
  • Actively dispose of non-quality product
  • Participate in the tagging process
  • Ensure safety maps are updated and accurate for area of responsibility

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • 6+ months experience in a manufacturing, agricultural, military, or related environment
