Here, you will find more than just a job—you will find purpose and pride. We have an opportunity for a Packing Technician to join our team in Compounding on the late shift (13:00-21:00). In Compounding, we manufacture patient specific products such as Chemo-therapy, nutrition and antibiotics. You will be responsible for supporting the compounding operation which manufactures aseptically compounded products, following SOP’s, GMP, GDP & EHS to ensure a high-quality product at all times. You will work Monday-Friday 13:00 till 21:00.
Job Responsibility:
To pack products of a high standard and release according to specific timeframes
To perform routine quality checks on the product as part of the compounding process
To check batch numbers thoroughly and escalate any problems
Follow standard operating procedures
To cover operators during period of sickness/annual leave (for example we might ask you to do the AM shift (06:00-14:00) on the odd occasion)
To understand the products are patient specific and must meet a high level of quality - always
To perform and record all cleaning tasks for the equipment and areas of work as and when required as defined in the relevant SOP’s
To notify Team Leader/Manager and Quality Assurance of any deviations from the process
Requirements:
The ability to communicate and work as part of a cross-functional team is crucial. You will be liaising with other departments such as production and quality most days so communication skills are an essential part of the role
Strong work ethic and flexibility to meet the business needs
Able to work independently as well as part of a team
Previous experience in a GMP environment would be an advantage
Reasonable computer skills, MS office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Excellent attention to detail (you will be required to check batch numbers and measurements)
English & Mathematics GCSE or equivalent
