Job Description:

P+S Recruitment are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking a Packing Operator to join their team based in Norwich on a full-time, temporary basis for 6-8 weeks.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure labels are packed and presented in proper condition for shipping
  • Accurately label individual roll cores and cartons to ensure traceability of labels has been maintained
  • Complete end of manufacture quality control checks to verify good product has been manufactured
  • Maintain working environment to demonstrated standards
  • Desire to learn new skills and progress
  • Actively participate and engage in departmental Continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure a safe working environment is maintained
  • Pack labels into cartons as company specification
  • Complete quality control checks as company specification
  • Mount/demount plates in line with production schedule
  • Help with label dispatch as required and trained
  • To abide by all statutory requirements including those relating to health and safety
  • To ensure you read, understand and fulfil your responsibilities under the Company’s equal opportunities policy in place from time to time
  • To adhere to and promote all company policies and procedures in place from time to time including those relating to HR and health and safety
  • To undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by the Line Manager
