Job Description:

We are looking for a Packet Core specialist to lead the design and integration. This role focuses on the transition from 4G legacy systems to a cloud-native 5G Standalone (SA) architecture.

Job Responsibility:

  • high-level and low-level design of core components
  • supporting critical test activities
  • troubleshooting complex issues to ensure the reliability of emergency communication services

Requirements:

  • 3GPP 4G and 5G SA knowledge of Packet Core Network
  • understanding architecture, integration and protocols on Core network interfaces (4G mainly S1-MME/U, S4, S6a, S5/S8, SGi and others, for 5G SA N-interfaces/SBA architecture)
  • knowledge of NFVI architecture/principles of containerised virtual systems management (Kubernetes)
  • understanding of IP networks
  • contributing to High and Low Level Packet Core Network designs for MME, GW-C, GW-U (4G) and AMF, SMF, UPF (5G SA)
  • integration of these components with other parts of Emergency Services Network
  • supporting test activities and troubleshooting issues
  • config management for Packet Core Network
