Job Description

The Tools Manager plays a critical role in driving the successful delivery of projects through automation program’s within the packaging team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with in Adobe production tools, and a solid understanding of variable data workflows, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver personalized communication solutions.

Job Responsibility

  • Build and Validate project Data: Use uCreate Print, uDirect, and uProduce to develop and execute variable data print (VDP) and digital campaigns based on client specifications
  • Template Development with Adobe InDesign & uCreate: Design and modify InDesign templates with dynamic content using uCreate Print, ensuring accurate personalization across various output formats
  • Cross-Media Setup & Execution: Configure multi-touch, multi-channel campaigns(print) using uProduce and uPlan, ensuring all elements are dynamically linked and data driven
  • Testing, QA, and Troubleshooting: Test output files (PDFs, landing pages), identify personalization issues, debug logic or data mismatches, and provide solutions for campaign accuracy and scalability
  • Team Collaboration & Documentation: Work with designers, data analysts, and project managers to ensure project goals are met on time, and maintain clear documentation of templates, logic, and campaign workflows

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in an Adobe production environment, with at least 3 years in a technical lead or project management role
  • A bachelor’s degree in a design-related discipline (e.g., Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Information Design, Interaction Design)
  • Production proficiency in XMPie or variable data, and Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
  • Experience with production automation tools
  • Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for AI, automation, a knack for problem-solving, and a desire to make a real impact
  • Strong strategic and technical skills. Ability to assess complex problems and formulate and implement solutions
  • Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills
