Job Description:

CK Group are recruiting for a Packaging Technician to join a global pharmaceutical company on a contract basis for 12 months. This is a fully site-based role in Moreton, Wirral. This is a shift-based role.

Job Responsibility:

  • Primary packaging (bottle filling) of oral dosage forms
  • Labelling and assembly of clinical trial supplies
  • Complete electronic batch documentation, equipment logbooks and other documentation
  • Start-up, execute, cleaning and completion of clinical trial packaging operation

Requirements:

  • Experience of packaging and labelling environment in a GMP environment
  • Working knowledge of SAP
  • Basic knowledge of clinical trial operations would be advantageous
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Hold entitlement to work in the UK

Nice to have:

Basic knowledge of clinical trial operations

  • Carry out transactions on SAP as required
  • Ensure the Packaging area is Inspection Ready at all times
  • Participate in Regulatory Inspections
  • Assist with writing, review and revision of packing documentation as necessary (e.g. batch records, standard operation procedure etc)
  • Demonstrate commitment to a high level of safety awareness with the Packaging Operations Team

  • Troubleshoot, problem-solve, modify, and implement controls systems for field-deployed filling equipment, conducting unit replacement, electrical wiring, PLC programming and managing upgrades
  • Correct and redline electrical schematics
  • Directly interact with Engineering/Equipment department, Business Development department, clients, and upper management to plan deployments, resolve problems, manage expectations, and communicate status
  • Advise Engineering regarding customer satisfaction, product performance, and suggestions for product improvements
  • Prepare, forward, and maintain rigorous and accurate reports of system failure, service history, and equipment conditions
  • Comply with organization’s standard operating procedures
  • Indirectly supervise support staff and outside contractors as needed
