The Packaging Technician I is responsible for performing routine bottling, labeling, and packaging processes according to established procedures and work instructions. This includes completing all packaging documentation such as batch records, standard operating procedures, work instructions, and material processing requests. The role requires basic computer and analytical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, highly diverse, team-oriented environment.
Job Responsibility:
Perform packaging process flows, including bottling, bagging, labeling, and operating equipment like pipettes, scales, and labeling machines
Support inventory and material management, including storing, retrieving, and staging supplies
Prepare technical manuals, data sheets, and printed materials using appropriate equipment
Meet production objectives, organize schedules, and input data into SAP or similar systems
Adhere to departmental guidelines, EH&S policies, and participate in shift meetings
Notify supervisors of unsafe conditions and provide safety recommendations
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements:
0-2 years of relevant experience
Good organizational skills with task prioritization abilities
Self-motivation and minimal supervision required
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to learn new tasks and methods efficiently
