Packaging Operations Operator

• Move materials using manual and motorized pallet jacks/walkies
• Package final products per Standard Manufacturing Procedures (SMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), maintaining accurate logs following Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
• Set-up, operate, and clean production equipment (weighing scales, hand-filling equipment, Integrated Fill Lines, and Bagging equipment)
• Monitor meters, gauges, and displays for process parameters
• Maintain accurate production records (operation/cleaning logs, batch history records, label reconciliation, work order information)
• Ensure the final product meets weight tolerance specifications
• Use independent judgment for planning, performing, decision-making, troubleshooting, and problem-solving in operations
• Maintain accurate and complete records and logs
• use calibration equipment
• Follow all BD and DCM safety policies and procedures
• Work overtime as required
• Perform other duties as required

• Minimum of three years of experience in a manufacturing, packaging, and/or warehouse environment
• Experience in running filling equipment, assembling, and disassembling machines for cleaning
• High school graduate or equivalent
• Capable of performing heavy lifting/handling during a 10-hour shift
• 1-5 lbs. – 70%
• 5-25 lbs. – 30%
• Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs 50% to 95% of the workday
• Capable of passing the physical examination for forklift operations and respirator fit test

Forklift experience is very helpful
