The Packaging Technician I is responsible for performing routine bottling, labeling, and packaging processes according to established procedures and work instructions. This role requires reading and completing packaging documentation, such as batch records and SOPs. The technician must be proficient in basic computer operations, analytical tasks, and capable of working in a fast-paced, diverse, team-oriented environment.
Job Responsibility:
Meet production targets efficiently and with high quality
Organize individual schedules to meet departmental goals
Follow instructions on routine and new tasks
Assist with storing, retrieving, and staging packaging materials
Operate equipment to produce printed literature and labels
Support LDMS and daily startup meetings
Input packaging data in SAP or other production systems
Follow department guidelines and procedures
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
6 months to 2 years of relevant industry experience
Must be familiar with pipetting and bottling (not just packaging)
Background in bioscience or pharmaceutical field preferred
Proficiency with pipettes and bottling equipment
Basic computer and math skills
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Good verbal and written communication
Ability to learn new tasks and methods quickly
Strong attention to detail
Self-motivated and able to work independent
High school diploma or GED (mandatory)
Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
Nice to have:
Background in bioscience or pharmaceutical field preferred
