The Packaging Operations Operator 1 is responsible for the inspection, labeling, and packaging of clinical and commercial products while ensuring compliance with established procedures and quality standards. This role supports packaging operations through accurate documentation, inventory activities, quality checks, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Job Responsibility
Perform manual inspection, labeling, and packaging of finished products
Package products according to approved procedures and quality specifications
Conduct in-process inspections to identify and remove defective products or packaging materials
Maintain accurate documentation, including device history records and inventory records
Assist with inventory counting and reconciliation activities
Perform routine cleaning of packaging stations and equipment
Follow all quality procedures and documentation practices
Participate in safety audits and daily safety initiatives
Adhere to personal protective equipment (PPE) and contamination control requirements
Handle hazardous waste in accordance with established procedures
Support production goals while maintaining high quality standards
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient operations
Requirements
Minimum 6 months of industry work experience required
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
Experience in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment is an advantage
Experience involving packaging, inspection, or labeling processes is beneficial
High School Diploma or GED required
Ability to read, understand, and follow written procedures and documentation
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Willingness to work flexible schedules and overtime when required
Familiarity with computers and general business software
Nice to have
Experience in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment is an advantage
