Job Description

A hands-on packaging operations role based in Woburn, Massachusetts. The Packaging Operator is responsible for the manual inspection, labeling, and packaging of clinical and commercial products within a regulated manufacturing environment. The role requires strict adherence to quality specifications, accurate documentation, and active participation in workplace safety. This is a full-time, on-site short-term contract role running through the end of 2026 with overtime flexibility required.

Job Responsibility

  • Perform manual inspection, labeling, and packaging of clinical and commercial products
  • Ensure finished products are packaged in accordance with procedures and quality specifications
  • Inspect in-process packaging and components to maintain consistent quality
  • remove defective products and packaging materials
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation of manufacturing activities including device history records and inventory counts
  • Perform basic mathematical calculations to assist in completion of batch records
  • Assist with inventory counting activities as required
  • Perform routine cleaning of packaging stations and processing equipment
  • Participate in safety audits and actively engage in daily safety discussions and observations
  • Follow all PPE and product contamination control (gowning) requirements
  • Handle hazardous waste appropriately when required

Requirements

  • 0–5 years of experience
  • minimum 6 months of industry work experience required
  • Ability to follow procedures and quality specifications
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good documentation practices
  • Basic mathematical calculation ability
  • Familiarity with computers and general business software
  • Team collaboration and adaptability
  • Flexibility for overtime and shift changes
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Background check must be fully cleared before starting - no exceptions
  • Must be open and flexible for overtime hours when required

  • Troubleshoots equipment operation
  • Able to identify mechanical and electrical equipment problems and take action by notifying proper personnel
